A New Delhi ( India ) flight was grounded after a passenger was found carrying matches to clean out his ears.
Anti-terror police grounded the Air India flight to Bangkok last week after they found the pack of matches on Rashid Rehman, who claimed he used them instead of Q-tips to dig the dirt out of his ears, the Croatian Times reports.
The 30-year-old man told police he didn’t use the cotton buds because he could get matches for free at bars and restaurants.
More than 100 passengers were stranded for four hours. It was unclear if Rehman was allowed back on the flight.
Must not have heard the “no matches” announcement.
